Most of the City’s neighborhoods are safe and child-friendly, and there are lots of public spaces with playgrounds.
At the same time, Mexico City is full of people, so make sure to never lose sight of your children in a public space, and always be aware of your surroundings.
We suggest not to use public transport, and instead travel in private cars and/or use the Uber application making sure the driver follows the recommended routes.
We also advise you not to carry extra cash and your most important documents with you (it is better to leave them at the hotel security box).
¡Don’t lose sight of your personal belongings in public spaces!
To this day, there are no entry restrictions in Mexico and no obligation to carry a COVID test or to do quarantine. However, if you wish to get tested you can do so in different test locations in Mexico City, such as “Farmacia San Pablo” and “Laboratorio Salud Digna”. If you were to need any medicine, we recommend you go to “Farmacias del Ahorro”, “Farmacias Similares” or “Farmacias Benavides”, all of which are trustworthy drugstores.
The RSVP form includes questions on allergies and dietary restrictions that will be useful for us to adjust our food and beverages options according to your needs.
Mexico City’s airport has 2 concourses, one next to the other. It is located inside the City, so the best way for you to reach your hotel or Airbnb is by using the Uber application or booking a taxi from the airport. Even though there are public transport routes near the airport, we do not recommend using them.
Please take into account the City is vast, populous and there are lots of traffic jams, especially in October since there are many cultural and sport events.
Lastly, please remember that Mexico City is a seismic zone. In case of an emergency or earthquake, the Seismic Alert System will go off and you will be expected to follow all safety protocols.
In case of an emergency, you can call 911.
